about the author

Your ordinary 25-year-old, graduate from American Culture and Literature turned humanitarian aid worker turned United Nations. This is my personal blog where I explore migration in the modern world and how it intersects with literature.

Syrian refugee routes, Hemingway’s lost generation in today’s limbo, black holes swallowing borders, displaced souls as wandering stars. Classics reread through displacement; cosmos as metaphor for the camp. Big bang, itself, is a refugee crisis. Here, I’ll dive into topics close to my heart: migration and its profound impacts on identity and belonging; literature as a lens for understanding human experiences; the ever-shifting state of our world, from global politics to environmental crises; and everything in between.

Welcome to ‘Universe in Exile,’ my personal blog and portfolio.

This space is the journey of a tired soul in exile, displaced not just geographically but in spirit. And I know I’m not alone in these thoughts, so I hope at least you can find some rest and understanding here. Expect honest, introspective posts that blend storytelling with analysis, perhaps a book review, a rant on societal issues the next, or thoughts on the universe’s mysteries. I’ll aim to post regularly, sharing my perspectives and inviting you to join the conversation.
